It is a very exciting time to be in Storm Lake. We are currently making
plans for the incredible Project Awaysis, a multi-million dollar development
designed to draw people to our area, improve the quality of life for our
residents, and bring new business and industry to the area. This project
includes tying all of Buena Vista County to the new developments in Storm
Lake.
The Storm Lake Area Development Corporation works directly with city
and county officials, and the businesses it serves, to move projects,
plans, and developments forward. We are ready and willing to work with
you.

The Administrative Assistant carries out the routine tasks in the office,
including answering phones, providing first-contact information to walk-ins
and callers, and aiding in all of the activities SLADC performs. She also
serves the Storm Lake Chamber of Commerce.
The Financial Assistant completes all bookwork for the Chamber of Commerce
and the Storm Lake Area Development Corporation. He serves as the accountant,
and also answers information requests, including questions about the SLADC
Revolving Loan Fund.
The Managing Director plans events, makes contacts, and runs the majority
of the day-to-day activities of the Chamber. She meets with potential
members, plans meetings for the Chamber’s various committees,
and carries out the necessary activities for various Chamber events,
programs, and promotions. She works closely with the Storm Lake Area
Development Corp.
